Early Years Bitesize Training

Early Years Bitesize Training

Sandwell Early Years bitesize training for providers and practitioners. 

The Sandwell Early Years Team has produced a series of "Bitesize" training materials, covering a range of important topics, that all Early Years practitioners can access at any time.

Once a set of training has been completed, delegates can use a Microsoft Form (contained in each training presentation) to generate a certificate confirming their participation.

We hope that practitioners will find the "Bitesize" training useful, and if there are any questions or further training needs please contact your QTS

Telling stories with young children

A series of short films made for the Economic and Social Research Council 2021 Festival of Social Sciences aimed at parents of young children, and early years practitioners, considers the importance of storytelling, anywhere and everywhere. In conversations with an actor, a parent and practitioners , they look at storytelling techniques, the role of stories in young children's cultural identity, and how storytelling can be used to support  young children's learning.
