Bleakhouse Library

Anyone can join Sandwell's libraries, no matter where they live. Becoming a member is free and entitles you to borrow books, DVDs, CDs and other items from any library.

Library members are also able to access computers and free WiFi and can borrow eBooks and eAudiobooks. Wi-Fi Printing available.

Lots of events, activities and groups also take place in your local library including:

art group,coffee morning,local history society,ancestry group,adult craft group,sewing bee,gardening group,tai chi,yoga, ukele lessons and dominoes club.

Homework Help-  available every day after school (when library is open),Saturdays and school holidays. 4 Free printouts

MyTime Active- weight management and healthy lifestyle advice

Weigh2Go - free weighing service to help you keep track of your weight

Health Exchange - Stop smoking advice

X-Box One and PS4 available for use on request

Chi-Kenpo Karate- Thursdays and Saturdays

Computer Basics - ask a member of staff for details

Employment support -help with cv's, job search and universal credit

Volunteer Opportunities- the library offers the chance to volunteer

Library Friends Group is open to anyone interested in supporting the library
