West Smethwick Enterprise Family Support Centre is able to provide four Pre-Schools in Smethwick, weekly stay and play sessions in one of our centres, offer a contact centre for families and offer family support for children and their families in the local community.
West Smethwick Enterprise offer four Pre-Schools, based in Smethwick. Stepping Stones Pre-School, Little Steppers Pre-School, Two Steps Pre-School and Tiny Steps Pre-School.
West Smethwick Enterprise creates a homely caring environment where friendships are formed, and a sense of ‘belonging’ is found.
West Smethwick Enterprise delivers several programmes that support families in a variety of ways:
Healthy Happy Tums - This programme supports families to learn how to cook healthy, with products that have been grown by our setting in a local environment. We encourage parents to support the growing of the vegetables and ingredients and then use them in the cooking sessions. Healthy eating and alternatives are discussed, alongside hygiene and cleanliness in the home environment. This is done over six sessions, on a weekly basis. Stay and Play - We offer stay and play sessions on a Tuesday and Friday 10-11.30, at West Smethwick Enterprise, St Pauls Road, Smethwick, B66 1EX. We have a wide variety of activities to support all ages of children, and offer a wide variety of services within the sessions.
Ready, steady, learn - We offer literacy and mathematics sessions to support children and families under the age of 2. This sessions are delivered across a wide range of areas, including Smethwick, Oldbury, West Bromwich and Wednesbury. These sessions are delivered over three weeks and focus on different areas of literacy and mathematics and how parents can support children in their early years.
Family support - We offer 1:1 family support for families in the local community, this could be to support families with a wide variety of topics and we will support families as best we can.
Contact centre- This operates on evenings and weekends and allows parents to have contact with their children in a supported environment.
