Glebefields Library

Anyone can join Sandwell's libraries, no matter where they live. Becoming a member is free and entitles you to borrow books, DVDs, CDs and other items from any library.

Library members are also able to access computers and free WiFi and can borrow eBooks and eAudiobooks. Wi-Fi Printing available.

Lots of events, activities and groups also take place in your local library including:

Lose at the library; lose wight and make friends - Mondays

Bridges employment & training support -Tuesdays

Knit & natter - Tuesdays

Age UK drop in session - Tuesdays

Diabetes Group - Wednesdays

Job Club; with support from Black Country Housing - Thursdays

Work Pays;employment support, advice, guidance & training for 15-24 year olds - Monday-Friday

Stop smoking support - Thursdays

Everyone Health; free NHS health checks - Saturdays

Access to the internet to do job searches and create a cv. Help available from library staff.

Homework Help- available every day after school (when library is open), Saturdays and school holidays. 4 Free printouts

Free Online Encyclopedia Britannica available

Enjoy Xbox One, PS4. Ask staff for equipment.

Volunteer Opportunities- the library offers the chance to volunteer

Library Friends Group is open to anyone interested in supporting the library

Music Club

Councillors Surgery - an opportunity to talk to your local councillor. Contact Library for further information on surgery times.
