The Special Education Needs Service exists to ensure that children and young people with SEN and disabilities receive appropriate assessments, provisions and reviews in order to sustain their inclusion in educational provision, within the framework of raising educational standards across the theme. The service also contributes to the development of provision for pupils with SEN and disabilities.
