The Bridges Project

steps to work

Bridges is a project run by Steps to Work and made up of 15 Black Country
organisations working together to support people to overcome their barriers and
move closer towards gaining employment, education/training or independent job

Our services are individually tailored to meet your needs, offering 1-2-1 mentoring,
group sessions, access to education and training, help with CVs and job applications,
confidence and motivation support and other information, advice and guidance.
Whatever you need in order to feel more confident and capable of moving forward,
we can support you to achieve your goals. 

Bridges can support anyone who is:

  • 25 years and over
  • Unemployed (cannot be in part-time work or on 0 hours contract)
  • Economically Inactive (not currently looking for work)
  • Has complex needs/multiple barriers which are impacting on being able to enter
  • paid employment
  • Requires support to fully and independently engage in existing services
