Esteem Team - Maternal Emotional Wellbeing Team

The Maternal Emotional Wellbeing Team is part of the Esteem Team and provide dedicated specialist services to parents with mental health issues as a result of impending or recent childbirth and additional social and/or health problems.

The team assess and supports women and their families working closely with Health Visitors, Midwife's GPs and local Family Hub

Addressing clients emotional wellbeing they provide support pre and post natal, this can include complications that may have been experienced such as stillbirth, miscarrage, cot deaths and terminations.

We accept referrals from GPs, other health professionals and colleagues within the "Sandwell Wellbeing Hub" and self referral.
