Updates from the SEND Strategic Board
The SEND Strategic Partnership Board is the group which discusses the direction of strategic SEND policy within Sandwell. The purpose of the SEND Strategic Partnership Board is to act as a Strategic Governance Body to oversee the delivery of the SEND Reforms across the Local Area. The Membership of the Board is reflective of the Local Area and includes representation from key stakeholders i.e. the Local Authority, Parent Carer Forum, Education, Health and Social Care.
The board meets bi-monthly and is chaired by the Director of Children and Education Services (DCS) Michael Jarrett.
The scheduled meetings for the academic year 2021/22 are as follows:
October 21st , December 16th , February 17th , April 7th, June 16th
